The Cube Peloton is completely revamped for 2012. It has really stepped up to the mark and now comes in 4 different versions. The models all come with the same lightweight and stiff 6061 Double butted Aluminium frame but differ in spec. The Peloton Pro comes with a full Shimano Tiagra groupset including a more user friendly triple chainset. The Tiagra groupset is known for its excellent functionality, durability but still retaining great value. New for 2012 the Peloton now comes with internal cable routing, an over-size head tube for maximum front end stiffness and steering precision. The Peloton is designed as a user friendly race bike due to the slightly more relaxed geometry than an out and out race bike. The Peloton comes in a broad range of sizes from 50 all the way up to 64cm which will cater for every shape and size. We are really impressed by the peloton this year and as usual Cube has produced a really nice looking bike in a very competitive package.
Who is this bike aimed at?
The Peloton is mainly a sportive bike although the frame is plenty stiff enough for racing if that's your thing. The road enthusiast will enjoy the low weight and broad range of gears, ensuring the steepest hills are a breeze. If you are looking to put in the miles in this year but what something comfortable but fast this is your machine.
