Merida is not that well known for their top end race bikes but that is soon to change with the introduction of the Reacto 907. Having personally tested this bike I can't overstate how impressed I was this bike. The overall speed and comfort of the Reacto is quite staggering. Suffice to say it was noticeable quicker than the bike I currently ride, which is what you want when you splash £2800 on a new bike. It is definitely not a head up endurance style bike and would probably suit a slightly more aggressive type of rider than a feather weight climber. As you'd expect for this type of cash the Reacto is race ready straight out the box. If you're not a brand snob you really need to consider this bike as a viable alternative to the other top brands. Make no mistake this is a race weapon!
