What makes them so much better than any other leg armour I've tried, is that they move perfectly with your knee as you pedal, no rubbing, no chaffing, even when your leg is bent 90 degrees or more. The main pad sits slightly out from your shin as your leg straightens which helps keep it cool too.
So, You can put them on at the Glentress Hub, and pedal all the way to the top of spooky wood, unlike 90% of people you'll see with uncomfortable pads strapped to their bags.
If you do come off, they will soak up whatever rocks or trees you choose to land on. Then you just stand up and get back on your bike. |
