A good solid start to February - encouraging to see so many of you getting out there and getting the miles in.
Our Tartan saddle buy in - (New Gusset R-Series) - has gone down rather well! We haven't bothered with the other colours yet but we may do... not sure Denim is all that 'cool' next to Tartan!
Anyway - in other news, Colin FINALLY ordered himself a Van Nic Amazon frame and we have had a steady stream of expensive parts arrive for it as the build looms ever closer. That man needs to buy shares in the XTR division of Shimano.
If any of you fancy buying me a Yeti Arc-X frame then feel free. The one on the wall keeps winking at me and I am having sleepless nights thinking about how I can justify one. I can't though. This means that I simply have to get one. Maybe into the Autumn, maybe...
We got some more 'road' centric kit in this week too. Rolf Prima has arrived at TBC, it's a big step for us. We are getting more and more road visitors to the shop and we feel it's time to fully embrace the fact that road riding is a great thing. The bug has really bitten and we are looking forward to a top summer's worth of riding. In this vein - nip over to the Facebook page for details on our Etape Cally Recce ride Colin is organising. It WILL be fun.

We got an Ibis Silk SL in today for a wee look at. Good solid carbon goodness. Nice features on there, nothing too 'fashionable' or faddish. Just common sense good design - liking the rear end at the stay/seat tube junction and the headtube is quite elegantly sculpted. Go and see it on our Facebook link up top.

First post of 2010. The Dawn Of The New Ice Age as it will be known throughout history in years to come. It is super cold. We are all wearing our bib's under jeans to stay warm as our storage heaters struggle to fend off the worst of the elements.
In other exciting news.... we have gone Turbo Trainer mad, we put one on display and 5 mins later it sells. We have a few in now. Nothing too fancy, just good solid functionality is the key. Set it up in front of Eastenders, watch them all moan at each other and at the same time you get more and more buff! Treat yourself to a beer or 5 afterwards. You know it makes sense.
New Yeti's are due soon, not soon enough in our eyes though. Pretty excited about the new 5 Carbon.
Rides will resume once the snow decides that it's not funny anymore so please keep an eye on Le Facebook Page for news on them.

Ibis Bikes are now in TBC, we have a built up Hakkalugi 53cm, a Tranny frame in Green and a Mojo frame in Orange for you too come and see. They will be built up in the New Year and you can take them out for demo. Amazing looking bikes, Colin is banging on about a Hakkalugi and racing cross next year... daft. I want a Yeti ARC-X but i won't be racing. Not daft.
If you didn't know....we have a good few demo bikes, Yeti 575, Lapierre Zestys and Spicys, Surly Cross Check, Lapierre and Cube road bikes too. Just call us for info on how to book a demo and then you can go and treat it like a rental car for the weekend!

Tis the shortest day and day 1 of TBC Mk2 - The Second Coming.
- Top news today is that Troy Lee Designs D3 helmets came in... amazing paint jobs.
- We will have Ibis Tranny's, Mojo's and Hakkalugi's in tomorrow as well just in time for Xmas, Thanks Santa
Otherwise it is last minute shopping madness - random Secret Santa gifts and the odd panic bought Turbo Trainer as well.

And lastly - folding bikes...
After much deliberation we have decided to get some Dawes models in. In all honesty we were a bit sceptical being full size bike riders but after a day living with one and a real life commute trial we are total converts. There is talk of Colin and I actually getting one each just because they are so much fun to ride. We admit it... we were wrong. Folders are the future. Come and see the Kingpin!
