An evolution of what Yeti do best - long travel XC bikes, the 7 brings a whole new way of thinking to the cross country bike scene.
It's quite a unique bike in many ways. Its not slack like a Lapierre Spicy, nor is it steep like a racer. The best way to imagine it is a 575 thats grown up.
When I rode this on test the one thing I remember the most is that it is fast! Not just normal fast but more like 'woah' fast. It has a unique way of picking up speed that I haven't experienced before.
What we all relly like about it is that it is a 160mm trail bike that actually pedals like a 130-140mm trail bike - you get all the benefit of the long forks and the rear suspension but with no drawbacks. It climbs so well and descends like a downhill bike.
It really needs a good open trail to wind it up to speed - you will want to keep pushing hard and we guarantee you will find yourself racing along trails faster than you thought you could.
