Cross, commute, singletrack...
This bike is exciting. The best way to describe it is that it's the bike for you if you fancied doing a bit of everything.
This means a trip off road on some singletrack - take the woods home on the commute, or if you wanted to race CX properly, or if you wanted a rugged commuter bike you could blast round the town with.
It will allow full guards and a rear rack so you really can use it for all sorts of stuff.
If you are a mountain biker and are reading this thinking you don't really want a road bike as you don't want to get too roadie then this might be the one for you. Pop some slicks on it go do some training, get some mudguards (SKS Chromoplastics we think would be ideal) and some Marathon Plus tryes and get some speed on the commute then put the semi-knobblies back on for the weekend and give it a blast round the hills. It will do wonders for your fitness and bike handling skills!
Colin and I have both uttered silly things like...'hmmm i might do a CX race for a laugh'. This would be the one we would choose.
