The Tranny defies normal hardtail convention... it has a really clever seperated frame design that allows you to run gears, no gears, pack it small for travelling etc.
You can undo a bolt and then put a little pressure on the saddle to allow the rear end to spread out a touch taking up any chain slack in singlespeed confguration. We think this is the best method designed yet for allowing singlespeeding on a frame. No tensioners, obcsure bottom brackets or faffing required. Nice.
They even included removable gear cable mounts so you can keep it really clean looking.
Designed around 100mm forks for XC use this frame can be built up a little burly for fun or light for a great laugh on an XC course.
Not for those who take themselves too seriously.
